Opened in 1983, through the efforts of local philanthropist Jack Lupton, this Pete Dye-designed course has drawn praise from golfers and fans across America.  Rated as one of the top 50 courses in the country, the Honors  played host to the U.S. Amateur in 1992, the 1994 Curtis Cup and the 1996 NCAA tournament won by none other than Tiger Woods.  The greens have also been graced by the likes of David Duval, Jay Sigel, Phil Mickelson, and other luminaries both amateur and professional.

The Honors is now the permanent home of the United Way Frank McDonald Memorial Golf Classic, which has the distinction of being the only charity tournament hosted by this prestigious course.
